When you are on a diet most people deny themselves certain foods or quantities of foods in pursuit of their ideal weight. The Mindful Moves Mind your weight course involves your mind in the weight loss process. In this course, we look at a number of topics that will assist you in achieving your weight loss goals. These include the following:

Our first step in the course is to determine what the best goal is for your health. This is important as we all have unique bodies that have their own version of healthy. This step lets us find what is the right balance for your body, so we can set the ideal weight loss goal for your body’s health.

Eating & Exercise Plan
Once we have identified your body’s ideal balance and version of healthy. We will help you develop an eating and exercise plan tailored to your unique needs. This plan may require some testing at home which is why we give it to you in the first session. That way we can help to oversee their implementation and offer our support in the follow up sessions. While also providing you with a deeper understanding of your body and its unique needs.

Your Profile
Next in our course we assess your personality type, triggers, and what works best to motivate you. This helps us to understand how best to keep you on track towards your weight loss goal. It also gives us a better understanding of how you respond to stress. This insight can help you catch yourself before you break your diet, and make better choices.

This workshop will also help you to understand the effect of stress and hormones on the brain and body. This understanding can be utilised during your weight loss journey as you will understand the hormonal cycles your body can encounter. This allows you to better prepare and preempt your body’s needs and helps you maintain your body’s balance.

Vitamins, Supplements & Probiotics
Another vital part of healthy living is vitamins. These substances can help you metabolise fat and are needed for many functions within our bodies. We will also look at how to balance your gut bacteria which can have a massive impact on your general health. This knowledge allows you to make informed decisions about your health, especially regarding supplements and probiotics you may wish to take.
