Fundamentals Pre-reading and Writing Skills

Children are sent to school once they reach a certain age to begin learning how to read and write. However, there are fundamental skills that they need to develop before they can effectively learn in school. This course will teach parents and teachers all the developmental milestones that children need to reach before they begin schooling. These include their vestibular system, tactile system, integrating all primitive active reflexes, auditory and visual perception and more. It also covers a movement program based on educational kinesiology that can help develop these skills. As development progresses from gross motor skills like running, to fine motor skills like those used in reading and writing.
This course is intended for parents and teachers wanting to ensure their children have reached these milestones. At the end of the course, a checklist will be provided for all the developmental milestones children must reach. It will also provide a movement program that can be used at home or in the classroom to assist children in reaching these developmental milestones.
